Holiday destination of my youth. Nowadays a Max Power drag strip shouldered by failing arcades and dodgy fish and chips but still manages to attract the entire population of Yorkshire on a bank holiday. Famous for featuring in the film <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0147004\/\" target=\"_blank\">Little Voice<\/a>, being the place where <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anne_Bronte\" target=\"blank\">Anne Bronte<\/a> died, having a castle that I&#8217;ve never been to and erm..erm..Peasholme Park where geeky model making fanatics re-enact the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Battle_of_the_River_Plate\" target=\"_blank\">Battle of the River Plate<\/a> throughout the summer.
